This letter is just to express our appreciation to Keenan Allen in the way that he managed the construction of our new home.
Quite some time ago, when we started this project, even in the planning stages, Keenan has been hands on in making sure that we succeeded in what we envisioned from the very beginning.
Even tho our project was a bit out of the realm of what his typical projects were, he assured us that we could make this happen. Of course along the way, there were challenges (I dare say that anyone who has built a custom home hasn’t had some) Keenan was there to meet them head on. If it was a question that he didn’t know the answer to, he knew where to get the answer.
From his availability to his professionalism, to the expert craftsmanship of the sub-contractors that he provided, it was an exceptional experience.
During the time of our project, supplies of certain materials were a challenge, but Keenan and his team were flexible to the point that everything continued as much on schedule as possible.
Overall, we couldn’t have made a better choice in choosing who built our “forever” home.

We met Keenan Allen after losing our home in the 2020 Nashville TN tornado. While there are numerous contractor options in the greater Nashville area, Keenan’s level of integrity and expertise stood out.
We worked with Keenan Allen to build a custom home on our pre-existing lot. From the very start, we were impressed by Keenan’s knowledge, experience, and most importantly his character. In the aftermath of the tornado, there were several new building regulations to navigate to obtain permits. Barriers only became more complicated as the global pandemic from COVID19 ensued. Keenan was our primary support through the entire process; from helping direct cleanup volunteers at our house site, advocating for our building permits to be approved in a timely manner at the Metro Codes Department, to overseeing each step of building our new home.
Keenan provided exceptional communication and reliability. He was timely in his responses, conveying timelines of the overall process, what items we had to choose and when, and provided resources as to where to purchase the items. If anything changed in the timeline or process, he always let us know right away. Keenan also provided his honest recommendations for our construction options, but respected whichever decisions we made. The subcontractors he worked with were also very responsive and thorough in their profession. Keenan provided recommendations for home designers, however we opted to make design decisions ourselves.
